On December 6th, 2020, Romanians chose their Parliament (Senate and House of Representatives members), this time with a significant technology upgrade.
Romania’s voting system is based on stamps and paper, and correspondence voting is new. This year 45% of the correspondence votes did not arrive until election day, so thousands of ex-pats had to travel to vote.
